Fees & Rebates
Appointment Fees
$170 for an initial appointment*
$137 for follow-up appointments
*Initial appointments are usually 60 minutes, and follow-up appointments 45mins, short follow-ups are 30 minutes and fees are $96.40
Pricing & Fees
At Movement Physio, we believe in transparent and fair pricing that reflects our specialised service and commitment to your health journey.
Note: We're dedicated to ensuring that everyone receives the care they need. If appointment times or financial constraints are a concern, please reach out to discuss potential flexibility.
Payment
Payments are to be made on the day of your appointment. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Master Card and Visa. We also have a HICAPS terminal so that you can use your private health card, you will then only have to pay the gap.
Medicare
To be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate, you need to have been referred to physiotherapy by your GP under a Chronic Disease Management Plan. Please be mindful that the Medicare CDM plan will not cover the full amount of your consult. Please discuss your eligibility with your doctor. Currently, the Medicare rebate is set at $58 per appointment (as at time of writing: 16-Aug-23) Please ensure that we have a copy of your care plan to be able to claim the rebate Please note that we do not bulk-bill Medicare Care Plans, so there will be an out-of-pocket cost for your appointment. We are able to process Medicare claims through our practice software immediately after your appointment.
Private Health
Most Australian private health funds offer a rebate for physiotherapy. The rebate will vary depending on your private health fund and level of cover. We have a HICAPS machine that can provide on-the-spot claiming so all you need to do is pay the gap. Please bring your private health insurance card along to your appointment.
